As part of its ongoing commitment to international standards and continuous improvement, Birzeit Pharmaceutical Company hosted Eng. Mohammed Al Sayaad from M.A.K International, representing Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) Company, on 23–24 September 2026, to conduct an external audit of the company’s Quality Management and Environmental Management Systems, in accordance with the international standards ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015. It is worth noting that the company has maintained its ISO certifications continuously since 2001 and 2004, respectively.
The audit covered several departments and functions, including Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Production, Supply Chain, Human Resources and Training, and Raw Materials Warehouses, in addition to reviewing environmental aspects and emergency preparedness and response.
This audit reaffirms Birzeit Pharmaceutical Company’s commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and excellence, enhancing the effectiveness of its management systems, and continuously improving its performance and product quality in line with international standards and best practices in the pharmaceutical industry.
